  1. If you are referring to the absence of a lot of the reviews done before 2009, it is because of our move. This list does not include many of the reviews from MRFH’s past because each one has to be reformatted for the new site and then published on the front page, so it is going to take a while before this list is complete. Until then, if you go to the About page and scroll to the bottom you will find links to all of our older material.

  2. I’ll consult the Big Cheese about it today. A flogging might be in order. Not him, of course. Never him. Probably one of the newbies (that will teach them to be new!).

  3. Dawn of the Dead, 1978 and 2004 versions, can be found by clicking the About tab at the top, and then scrolling all the way down for Classic Reviews. That takes you to our old site. We have all about ten years of content still over there and in the process of being moved.

The Spirit is under “S” on this page. You’ll also find Sprited Away, The Spirits Within, and the disembodied snark of all our former writers haunting the pages of the old site.

  4. Thanks — I’ll look for that. I’d checked for it on the old site with no luck.

By spirit I mean vibe; energy, fervor, vim vam voom. It seems to have died. Especially on the forums.

  5. It’s appears as if we have update failure on this page. The last review to get indexed was Al’s review of Gamers from May 3.

  6. Mmmm…possibly. It would help, but I really like the story, it’s like your just dropped into these peoples lives. A very exterstensial feel, but not quite as much as Vanishing Point, another “gearhead” movie.
